There’s a new voice joining the 101.1 The Pulse family, and he brings decades of radio experience with him.

Uncle Kenny officially joins The Pulse beginning Sunday, September 6, hosting a live Sunday morning show as North Georgia gets ready for church.

Uncle Kenny’s radio career has taken him across the country, with stops in major markets including Houston, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles and Miami. In 2010, he joined the K-LOVE and Air1 Radio Networks, where he spent nearly seven years connecting with listeners across the country.

After stepping away from radio in 2016 to focus on music and songwriting, Kenny eventually made his way to the North Georgia mountains. Today, he calls Ellijay home, making his return to radio a truly local one.

“When someone of Kenny’s caliber and experience is living right here in your listening area, you’ve got to find a way to get him involved,” said Darien Southerland, Managing Partner of The Pulse. “We’re excited to add Kenny to the team and have him live on Sunday mornings as North Georgia heads to church. While other stations are making cuts, The Pulse team continues to get stronger.”

Expect great music, encouragement, conversation and plenty of personality as Uncle Kenny becomes part of your Sunday morning routine.

Join Uncle Kenny Sunday mornings beginning September 6 on 101.1 The Pulse — America’s Home Where Faith, Country and Gospel Unite.
